Tony Ward

Hello, my name is Tony (aka Princess) and I live in Rochdale with my lovely wife Danielle along with our two cats, Tig and Clari. I work for a small company making and supplying specialised piping solutions all over the world and even Ellesmere Port if we have to!  I also seem to do a good side line of posts for marking out the Cheshire Capri club show stands.

I joined the club/extended family in 2015 after much deliberation. Although I now wish I had joined sooner as since I did, I have never looked back.  I even gained the accolade of member of the year 2017/18 season.

I am the proud owner of a 1981 W plate 2 litre S in Venetian Red. I bought her in 2013 with just 34,000 on the clock and now, nearly 5 years on, with her showing 37,000 miles she is still fairly low mileage car for the age.  Since I bought her I have only done a few basic jobs like regular servicing, changing the brake calipers and replacing missing or broken trim pieces. The most challenging fault was a split exhaust manifold sapping the power, which was after much head scratching, was diagnosed and solved by old Ken of RE Performance of bury.  He then tuned her up for and she is no running a respectable 88bhp

Well thanks for reading this, if indeed you still are………….
