Hello, my name is Mark and unfortunately the plane in the picture is not mine. I’m an IT manager for DHL currently working on the NHS Supply Chain contract. My partners name is Suzanne and we have four kids and a dog. I have several hobbies including clay pigeon shooting and of course, my Capri. When I am not at a show with my Capri you will usually find me walking in Lytham or Llangollen with Suzanne, my son William and our dog Boo.
I have been a member of Cheshire Capri Club for just over a year. After seeing the guys at Tatton Park in 2016 and being a Capri fan from the 80’s and 90’s, I decided that the MGB that I had just wasn’t doing it for me and needed a slice of the action. The welcome I got from the members was fantastic, with good banter and a group of lads and ladies who will always offer a helping hand whenever you need it.
My car a 1986 1.6 Laser in white and I have owned it since October 2016. In that time I have replaced a lot of parts including the cambelt, clutch, carburettor, radiator and lots of other bits and bobs. The car is generally in good condition, but I will continue to improve it as and when. I plan to refurbish the wheels this year (2018) and possibly fit a sports exhaust. Although I’ve not decided on that one yet as I am not sure which direction I want to head in regarding fitting non-standard parts.
Look forward to seeing you at the shows this year. Mark !!
